About the United Flyers of Sonoma

The United Flyers of Sonoma Disc Golf Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of disc golf in Northern California. Tax ID#20-8408923

Founded in 1976 on the campus of Sonoma State University, the United Flyers of Sonoma (UFOS) Disc Golf Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of disc golf in the North Bay area, fostering a sense of community among disc golfers and supporting many worthwhile organizations in the area. Our members build for the future of the sport by designing and building new courses, introducing new players to the sport and providing the opportunity for them to come out and learn disc golf in a friendly, healthy and pleasurable environment.

Our clinics not only provide instruction at all levels of play, they provide funds for a number of charitable causes that benefit the community as a whole. Our weekly matches, held at various courses in the area, are actually mini-clinics in which anyone can come out to learn the sport or learn a few tricks to improve their game. For further information, just drop us a line at www.unitedflyers.org, or email us at [email protected].
