Commemorative Gifts

Are you looking for a special way to commemorate a milestone? Do you want to honor a family member or friend with a gift that supports our parks? The Parks Foundation offers the following options for commemorative tribute and memorial gifts:
Picture
Benches and Picnic Tables
Commemorative furniture opportunities exist in many of our Regional Parks. The cost to sponsor for ten years is $3,000; premium sites are $5,000. For more information on the parks furniture program and current availability, please click here.

Bear Saver Boxes
Bear Saver Boxes are critical tools in maintaining the health and safety of local wildlife. These secure receptacles keep human waste out of the paws and maws of bears and other animals, making our parks safer for both animal and human visitors. Regional Parks is striving to install Bear Saver Boxes throughout the park system. You can support our local wildlife with your $5,000 sponsorship.  Please contact Executive Director Melissa Kelley for more information.

Water Fountains

Regional Parks is installing a number of high-low water fountain/water bottle filling stations which feature two spouts an a convenient spigot for dogs. Immediately available in Spring Lake Regional Park is a new fountain in a prominent location between the main walking path and Spring Lake swimming lagoon. A  10-year sponsorship is $5,000. Please contact Jodie Ellis for more information.

Regional Parks Tree Fund
Tree fund donations are $100 each and result in a certificate acknowledging that a tree will be planted in honor or in memory of an individual. Donations are held in a fund until Regional Parks needs to plant a tree or trees in one of the county parks. Unfortunately, we are not typically able to designate your tree fund donation for a particular tree or park. We can, however, mail a copy of a special certificate to an individual to let him or her know of your donation. Click here to download the tree fund donation form.

Larger Naming Opportunities
Parks in the Regional Parks system also present opportunities for larger gifts, such as a camping cabin in Spring Lake Park, a beautiful stone barbecue, the Shiloh Ranch horseshoe pitching court, Shiloh Ranch picnic grove, bi-level drinking fountains for dogs and owners, group picnic areas, camp ground enhancements, dog park improvements, and other facility upgrades. Please contact Executive Director Melissa Kelley for more information.
