Bear Saver Boxes
Bear Saver Boxes are critical tools in maintaining the health and safety of local wildlife. These secure receptacles keep human waste out of the paws and maws of bears and other animals, making our parks safer for both animal and human visitors. Regional Parks is striving to install Bear Saver Boxes throughout the park system. You can support our local wildlife with your $5,000 sponsorship. Please contact Executive Director Melissa Kelley for more information. |
Regional Parks Tree Fund
Tree fund donations are $100 each and result in a certificate acknowledging that a tree will be planted in honor or in memory of an individual. Donations are held in a fund until Regional Parks needs to plant a tree or trees in one of the county parks. The Tree Fund supports projects like replacing fallen cypress trees at Doran Regional Park that serve as a windbreak, new trees to provide shade at the upcoming sports fields at Maxwell Farms Regional Park, and trees surrounding the new parking area at Helen Putnam Regional Park. Unfortunately, we are not able to designate your tree fund donation for a particular tree or park. We can, however, mail a copy of a special certificate to an individual to let them know of your donation. Click here to download the tree fund donation form. |

Larger Naming Opportunities
Parks in the Regional Parks system also present opportunities for larger gifts, such as a camping cabin in Spring Lake Park, a beautiful stone barbecue, the Shiloh Ranch horseshoe pitching court, Shiloh Ranch picnic grove, bi-level drinking fountains for dogs and owners, group picnic areas, camp ground enhancements, dog park improvements, and other facility upgrades.
