Water Bark at Spring Lake Park

Spring Lake usually hosts the popular Water Bark dog swim each fall.
After being on hiatus in 2020, the event may return in 2021 but dates have not been announced.
The Spring Lake Water Bark is a fundraiser for the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, which raises money more more than 50 dog-friendly parks and trails in the Sonoma County Regional Parks system.

For four weekends in September following Labor Day,  dogs are welcome at the Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon for off-leash swimming and romping.

The water in the swimming lagoon is filtered, chlorinated and closely monitored by Regional Parks staff to ensure it is safe for dogs.
The swimming lagoon is separate from Spring Lake, which is not treated.
2019 Dog Photos Available Online!
Photographer Julie Vader was on site Saturday and Sunday September 21-22 and photographed the dogs at Water Bark. She generously contributes 50% of all sales to the Parks Foundation. See the entire collection at her website: julievader.com
