Park Pals lead the way

You know how wonderful parks are, especially during a time when we are eager to escape the confines of home to stretch our legs and clear our minds. As local residents seek ways to cope with COVID-19, our parks are experiencing unprecedented demand. People of all ages and backgrounds are discovering the beauty of our parks, some for the first time! We need our Regional Parks more than ever, and they need us, too.

We'd like to invite you to become a Park Pal, one of a group of loyal park lovers who makes a regular commitment to support our parks. Perhaps you already make an annual donation to the Parks Foundation. But did you know that making consistent donations month-by-month helps the Parks Foundation create a reliable income stream that provides stability for our parks?

Joan Maxwell has been a dedicated Parks Foundation donor for nearly a decade and a monthly donor since 2018. We asked her what she likes about monthly giving.

"The Sonoma County Parks Foundation is one of my most important charities," Joan said. "I feel like monthly giving demonstrates the commitment that I have to makes parks a priority. I love that monthly giving is so easy and convenient. I just set it up and then I don't have to think about it!"

Monthly donors are the backbone of the Parks Foundation. We invite you to join this club dedicated to helping support our beloved parks on a consistent basis.
